This weekend an all new series, BUYING THE BAYOU, debuts on Destination America. Fans of the popular Destination America series, BUYING ALASKA, will no doubt want to give this one a look!
There is no place on earth like the Bayou, and the real estate market is just as unique—and not for the faint of heart. Buyers will find one-of-a-kind homes here, many of them located in difficult, unpredictable swampland. Gator hunters, catfish noodlers, and shrimping and crawfish enthusiasts alike will find this series a fascinating look at Central Louisiana. And, unlike properties in most areas, some of the homes available float! Some are propped up by stilts! And, still other homes have prime space for airboat docking! That’s right—airboat docking!
Nothing like the homes in the bayou can be found elsewhere, and Destination America’s Buying the Bayou will introduce curious viewers to as many as they can over the premiere season.
Enjoyed BUYING ALASKA? Now, take a trip South and try BUYING THE BAYOU on Destination America.
