‘Mountain Men’: Should Tom Think Twice About Going on a Bear Hunt Tonight on History Channel?

“Mountain Men” continues its season on History Channel tonight, and Tom has a new plan: a bear hunt.

Viewers have been watching and cheering for Tom and his brother, Jack, no doubt, hoping they would trap enough beavers and other animals for Tom to call his season a success. But, roadblock after roadblock was thrown in their way, and things just never quite came together as Tom had hoped. Now, he is looking at a possible failed season in front of him.

Or, is he?

Tonight, Tom has a new plan: a bear hunt. But, you know, we have to wonder: Is that really the best plan? Tom is getting older, and he does not seem to be at his most agile at this point; is hunting down a bear–a big, mean, dangerous, faster-than-you-might-think bear–really the best idea?

We’ll find out tonight, on on all-new episode, “I’ll Go Down Fighting.” According to History Channel:

Tom scrambles a last-minute bear hunt to save his season; Morgan fights for his future with fire; Eustace has an unexpected showdown.

Also tonight, following “Mountain Men,” History Channel hit series “Ice Road Truckers” continues. On all-new episode, “Bridge to Nowhere”:

Darrell Ward faces a trail nicknamed “The Obstacle Course.” Todd Dewey struggles to clear a melting ice bridge. Polar veteran Alex Debogorski is pushed to the limit hauling an oversized fuel tank. And, Art Burke stumbles onto an ice crossing in the dead of night.

Stay tuned.

“Mountain Men” airs on History Channel on Thursday nights at 9/8c, followed by “Ice Road Truckers” at 10/9c.
