Lots going on in the life of Ryan Serhant this summer of 2016. Besides the wedding in Greece, airing on a special “Million Dollar Listing New York”, Serhant opened a brand new office in Brooklyn, NY, and he turned to frequent collaborator Taylor Spellman, a New York based interior designer and staging expert, to give the Bed-Stuy office some Brooklyn style. That’s Spellman alongside Serhant in the photo above.
Serhant explained how he landed in Brooklyn. “With this office our team’s boots will be on the ground. We are seeing rapid expansion with our Brooklyn business literally multiplying before our eyes, and we plan to keep up with that momentum.”
How did Spellman capture that Ryan Serhant energy and make the office a fun place to be? “The inspiration for the design strikes a chord between the rich history and cool vibe that Brooklyn is known for, and the bold personality of Ryan Serhant. The great open space didn’t lend itself to privacy for phone calls, so we brought in the phone booth to give a sense of privacy when needed. Since The Serhant Team works so hard, the bright colors are meant to be uplifting, and the Brooklyn street signs – found in local flea markets – played up the fun vibe of the space.”
Nothing is done half-way in the life of Ryan Serhant and to prove that, he made it easy to get to his party in Brooklyn, partnering with Lyft and when you got to the site, cocktail society Hooch provided the cocktails. Other sponsors included BKLYN BLEND, Todd Meyer Mortgage, FashFoodies, Bed-Vyne Wine, Riverside Abstract and Black Tree.
The special edition of “Million Dollar Listing New York” is a three-parter, with part one debuting on Bravo, September 22nd. Get ready for drama, fun and of course lots of love. Luis Ortiz is there to set up the bachelor party, and of course, nothing goes as expected. Ortiz recently left the show for other endeavors, but he wouldn’t have missed Ryan’s wedding.
Taylor Spellman joins the Bravo TV family alongside real estate agent Reza Farahan (“Shahs of Sunset”) in “Yours Mine Or Ours”, premiering Monday October 3rd. They help a new couple decide if they should renovate one of their current places to satisfy their partner’s needs and finally be under one roof, or if they should combine their budgets to buy a new home. Stay tuned for more about that!
