Sundance Head, Billy Gilman and We McDonald backstage at The Voice" Finale Pt. 1

‘The Voice’ Finale Tough Choice: Each Deserves To Win, So Who Ya’ Got? (Video Performances)

“The Voice” Season 11 final four performances make today’s choice one of the most difficult in recent history on the show. If you are voting based on the final show, it’s difficult to see any weaknesses you can point to.

For this viewer the feeling was unique. Each time a finalist sang a cover song it felt like no one could top it. Then the next person stood on the stage and equaled the previous performance. It’s interesting to note that the song choices were classics in their genres. Both We McDonald and Billy Gilman went back to icons of song, Barbara Streisand and Frank Sinatra.

Neither one imitated the original, and paid close attention to making it their own, particularly Gilman who broke up at the end. We McDonald continues to astound for a 17 year-old talent. Is she the next Jennifer Hudson?

Sundance Head’s extraordinary pick of “At Last”, must have had even Beyoncé’ take notice. Unless you listened carefully you had no idea it was that Etta James classic. Josh Gallagher looked as comfy as can be fitting his voice and stage performance around “Jack and Diane” by John Cougar Mellencamp.

It comes down to what genre of music moves you the most; or perhaps your connection to the singer based on a season on “The Voice”. Here are the choices for you to review. You still have a sliver of time to vote.

Josh Gallagher  “Jack and Diane”

Sundance Head “At Last”

Billy Gilman  “My Way”

We McDonald “Don’t Rain On My Parade”
