What took so long? Whatever it was, we know you’ll welcome back Theresa Caputo and “Long Island Medium” to Sunday nights on TLC. A week in the life of the effervescent and plain-spoken medium is packed with activity, so strap in for a review of the last 12 months.
In the show’s season premiere, Sunday night February 19 at 8 p.m. Theresa kicks things off with an all-celeb hour of sessions. In the photo posted above, Caputo poses with Academy Award winner Mo ‘Nique ,who is reunited with a relative and a famous deceased comedian. Hmmm…who might that be?
Who else is on the agenda for Sunday? Try this on for size; Theresa meets with Rosie O’Donnell and connects with both of her parents through spirit. O’Donnell and Caputo in the same room might just take everyone’s breath away. “Mike & Molly” star Billy Gardell receives validation from his late grandfather and mother-in-law; while “Empire” star Ta’Rhonda Jones hears from a deceased cousin.
For fans of “Long Island Medium”, the long overdue season couldn’t come soon enough. The network has teased a serious health issue for Theresa, which only came to light while she was undergoing a scan of her brain. While we’ve gotten explanations of how spirits present themselves to Caputo, this might be the first time that an attempt has been made on-camera to capture activity in Theresa’s brain during one of those moments.
While the series is fun and for those who believe, a true spiritual experience, there’s nothing like seeing Theresa Caputo live and in person. You can check out her latest appearances and even book tickets at theresacaputo.com.
