“My Big Fat Fabulous Life” takes the action to New York City tonight on TLC. Whitney and Todd take a trip in the episode titled “Big Girl in the Big Apple” and in sneak peek scenes, the besties get into it with each other. On this trip, Whitney Thore is the tag along, as Todd attends a dance workshop with The Fitness Marshall.
When an opportunity arises for Thore to appear in a music video she accepts, leaving Todd in a state of confusion, then anger. Todd was thinking he would have his pal to explore the city and experience it all for the very first time, but Whitney chose to go do something on her own. While it’s true that every opportunity could be the next big thing for Whitney, adding to her dance and performance resume, it didn’t sit well with Todd
It’s rare, if ever that “My Big Fat Fabulous Life” focuses on an activity that doesn’t center on Whitney. That’s Todd’s point, which Whitney didn’t consider. Free time was meant to be together time. She needs him happy and willing to participate in the upcoming rematch of the dance battle back home.
Meanwhile, check out the video posted below, with some great scenes of Buddy and Whitney working out together. No, it’s not the usual session with trainer Will, and even the exercise itself is different. Trampolines anyone? Note that the class instructor says “stay low”, meaning knees bent as you jump.
Doesn’t that sound a bit like Jiya from Trophy Wives Dance Class? The look on her face says it all, but the best expression comes from Buddy, who hasn’t even gotten as far as Whitney in his fitness program. Enjoy!
