“Married At First Sight: Second Chances” has hit the reality jackpot episode tonight on Lifetime. It’s reunion show time, and in “The Truth Comes Out”, the network describes David’s moments on-screen in this way: “Tensions run high when the women confront David.” It’s the understatement of the year.
We already watched David get smacked around, at least verbally, by one of the two women he dumped in the final show. Isabella was quite restrained after David told her throughout the season, “I’ve never felt this way before in my life”. Of course then there was the live-in week when things got gnarly for a few days.
It was Tara who tore his face off after David dumped her last week, feeling rightly dishonored and humiliated. She heard “I love you”, shared a bed with David then didn’t fit the bill for the long-term.
But, there’s a least one woman we know will be in high gear tonight, and that’s Maya. She earned the loathing of many women in the group before she eliminated herself, tired of the competition and backbiting. David was so hot for her he would have given her a chance to rejoin the group had he not been fearful of what the remaining women would have done to him. Here’s that cringe-worthy moment when she returned.
Let’s trip down memory lane a bit with Maya’s greatest hits. Here she is in episode three trying to explain why it’s so rough for her among the women suitors for David’s hand.
Then there was the original incident that set off Maya, when Callie tried to compliment her, but did it in a way that Maya objected to:
Will Maya have more to say than Melika? Will the women join forces now that they both lost out?
