Lizard Lick Towing: Broken Bones, Stolen Jewelry

There's always drama at The Lick!

Lizard Lick Towing: Can those boys do ANYTHING without getting themselves in all kinds of trouble?

It seems not.

It doesn’t help that Ronnie keeps bringing Cousin Johnny into the mix—is he ever anything but trouble?—but with Bobby hurt and healing—or trying to heal, anyway—Lizard Lick cannot afford any screw ups or bad turns.

But, hey, those are the breaks.

Bobby is worried that Ronnie might give his job away while he is healing. Who would he give it to? How many totally crazy people ARE there in the town of Lizard Lick?

Well, maybe you should not answer that, now that I think about it.

No, I don’t think Bobby needs to worry about Ronnie cutting him loose; if there is one thing Ronnie is it’s loyal.

“I’m sorry, man!”

How many times does Ronnie have to hear that, for example, before he finally cuts Cousin Johnny lose from The Lick? Well, his wrecking a $90,000 backhoe did not do it. And, basically, everybody got hurt, and the backhoe was still with the people it did not need to be with, albeit in unusable condition.

So, Lizard Lick did not get paid. Above and beyond that, the behind-on-payments owner came into The Lick, screaming at Amy to give him somebody “in charge,” ultimately getting into a fist-fight—yes, a literal fist-fight—with her.

You just do not mess with Amy.

Trying to help Bobby, Ronnie got them a security gig. Now, you would think that two big guys like Ronnie and Bobby could really tear it up on a security gig, but these are the Lizard Lick boys we’re talking about, the ones who cannot seem to make it thru the front door without slamming it on their own foot. And, this time, they had barely gotten in the door before Bobby was being accused of not guarding jewelry but stealing it.

Bobby? A thief?

Not even.

But, hey, that’s the way it always seems to go down for the boys at The Lick.

Last we saw Bobby, he and his broken ribs were being toted away in the back of a police car, while the real thief, whoever he/she may have been, was somewhere walking calmly away. I’m putting my money on the counter saleswoman working with one of the “customers.”

Stay tuned.
