Get ready for the return of actress Mary McCormack in a slam-bang lead role when “Loaded” premieres on AMC. Monday night July 20 at 10 p.m. ET/PT is the time and place, so be there or set your DVR.
McCormack, plays Casey, VP of Acquisitions at a corporation that just purchased a video game company, Idyl Hands. She pushed for the deal so she’s on the proverbial corporate hot seat. That means that she gets to rule the lives of the four game entrepreneurs who just got paid big bucks and think they know all and can do all.
In the sneak peek clip posted below, watch how she deals with a big problem that cropped up, as her new minions try to minimize her intensity and the potential for harm. Yeah, she went all Darth Vader on them, and promised the wrath of the dark lord if they do anything other than what she says, and with the speed at which she expects it.
The four 30-somethings are suddenly transformed from “people who play games” to “serious players in the game.” Amid a raging hurricane of money, excess, and “millionaire guilt,” “Loaded” is about friendship, gluttony, ambition, and how money can put even life-long relationships to the test.
“Loaded” is based on Keshet International’s award-winning series Mesudarim created by Muli Segev and Assaf Harel, “Loaded” is executive produced by Kate Norrish and Polly Leys for Hillbilly Television (The Level); Howard Burch, Avi Nir, Segev and Harel for Keshet and Jon Brown (Fresh Meat, Veep); with Charlie Leech (The Wrong Mans) as producer. The series is co-production between AMC, Channel 4, Hillbilly Television, and Keshet UK.
The series stars McCormack (In Plain Sight, The West Wing, The Newsroom) alongside Jim Howick (The Aliens, Yonderland, Horrible Histories), Samuel Anderson (The History Boys, Doctor Who, Trollied), Jonny Sweet (Babylon, Together, Him & Her), Nick Helm (Uncle, Funny Valentines).
