Tina Knowles-Lawson on ‘The Real’ Wednesday For #BossLady Week!

“The Real” celebrates #BossLady Week, dedicated to women who made their marks by building empires. No, not “Empire”, but a real empire. Each day a co-host sit with hosts, Adrienne Houghton, Loni Love, Jeannie Mai and Tamera Mowry-Housley to explain, inspire and just get REAL.

Wednesday October 11 is Tina Knowles-Lawson’s day on “The Real”. Check out the sneak peek video clip posted below for some highlights.

Tina is best known as a fashion designer who has designed and styled for superstar group Destiny’s Child, her daughter Beyoncé’s various tours and television performances, as well as costumes for a number of hit movies.

With Beyoncé she co-created three successful clothing lines; House of Deréon, Deréon, and the Miss Tina line. Tina Knowles Lawson’s philanthropic endeavors include The Knowles-Rowland Center for Youth in Houston, Texas, the Knowles-Temenos Place Apartments, and, in partnership with her daughter, Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, the Beyoncé Cosmetology Center at Phoenix House.

Tina and her husband, actor Richard Lawson, have recently established the WACO Theatre Center, a non-profit art and performance center in Los Angeles.  She has also established Tina’s Angels, a mentoring program for young girls and continues to help with ongoing relief efforts for Houston following the devastation following Hurricane Harvey.

“The Real” is a live daily, one-hour Emmy and NAACP Image Award nominated talk show on Fox Television Stations and in national syndication (check local listings), with a rebroadcast on cable network VH1. The hosts’ unique perspectives are brought to life through candid conversations about their personal lives, current events, beauty, fashion and relationships (nothing is off limits).
